Inode Austria will not give me the password for the router sitting just inches from me as I type! They say it is their property and I am only renting it. I am not allowed to use a different router. They claim none of the ports are 'blocked' yet when I run a connection check I always get the same message NAT check failed check firewall and port forwarding. I had turned the firewall off to test it and that wasn't the problem. I have tried passwords like 1234 4321 root admin and even some weird ones I found on the net all to no avail.. any ideas? I tried downloading brute force but I'm a computer neophyte and couldn't get it to work. thanks mags22 |

By nature of a router it is made to BLOCK all incoming requests on all ports so the tech you talked to has NO clue. Yes they as a ISP probably do not block any outgoing ports but that doesn't help you. |
