There's more to GRiD 2 than hardcore realism – Codemasters wants players to have fun too. Chances are they'll do just that playing a new DLC pack released today. In this new pack, players will get to experience the demolition derby mode, where they can wreck cars like crazy while trying to keep their own rides in one piece.
Codemasters said the community requested the return of Demolition Derby mode, which it believes will showcase Grid 2’s superior graphics and damage engine. In the Detroit Demolition Derby Stadium, players can choose from two track configurations, which both include a crossover jump, and play in single-player, split-screen and online multiplayer for up to 12 participants.
As well as opening the new mode, the pack adds the Jupiter Eagle Ray Mk 5 Demo Derby car and a range of stock, customisable liveries. Enjoy a few screens below, although it’s puzzling that you would when you could be smashing cars against each other.
